Yes, it was just a silly joke.

We are inconsistent in the captions and it should be fixed.  The  
problem is that some of us (like me) prefer minimal captions, whereas  
others prefer long captions that are full sentences.  We should  
probably settle on a standard style.

I will add it to our to-do list.
