Hi Stef,

But, there is a MOScatterplotLayout. It's just that Alex decided to  
implement the layout differently by placing the x: and y: computation  
directly in the layout instead of allowing each node to define its  
position.

You can see examples of the two APIs at  
MOLayoutTest>>testScatterplotLayout and  
MOLayoutTest>>obsoleteTestScatterplot.

I actually think the current implementation is not a very good idea  
because you might have different kinds of nodes that should be placed  
based on different considerations.

In any case, unfortunately the current Mondrian is not fully  
compatible with the VW one, and there is no particular process to make  
it so.
